As an aside to all the excitement of next year's endurance events , is anyone interested in organising/participating in regular Sunday morning runs? Paul Smith think this would be a 'not-really-the-Shufflers' sort of thing, as he's loath to impose further on the coaches who already do so much for the club. What he has in mind is 12-14 miles over a couple of regular routes, probably with groups running at a couple of different paces to suit abilities. As marathons approach next spring and beyond, runners can then add in extra loops and variations to build their mileage.
The plan is to get the first run going on 2nd November.
